Back in 1887, Josef Anton Meggle I. founded his small cheese dairy MEGGLE close to the Bavarian town of Wasserburg, near Munich. Today, the steeped in tradition company ranks among the most renowned manufacturers of processed dairy products in Europe, Asia and America.

We’re international, but local, too. Our high-quality cheese, cream and yoghurt products are made from local milk for regional European markets. We also produce butter and butter specialities and baguettes with fillings for volume buyers as well as for individual consumers. In addition, powdered milk products are made as speciality goods for the processing pharmaceutical and food industry and distributed worldwide.

The MEGGLE Group employs more than 2,500 people globally and generates a turnover of approx. €1 billion by developing, producing and marketing high-quality milk and whey products.
